Responsibilities
- Prepare metal parts for coating by thoroughly cleaning and sanding surfaces.
- Mix powder coatings precisely according to required specifications.
- Apply powder coatings evenly using specialized application equipment.
- Conduct rigorous quality control inspections to ensure a high-quality, defect-free finish.
- Perform regular maintenance on coating equipment utilizing mechanical skills.
- Adhere strictly to all safety guidelines to maintain a positive, safety-first work environment.
- Execute physical tasks requiring continuous standing, bending, and lifting throughout the shift.
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail across all preparation, application, and inspection phases.
The essential functions of this role include:
- working in a smoke free environment
- manual lifting up to 50lbs
- standing for 8 hours at one time
- working up to 4 hrs of overtime per week
